RUGBY GAMES!!!!!

Last week on Saturday me and my team played rugby at fryberk park. We versed the ponsonby ponies they were really easy but they tried their best and they nearly beat us but they missed there conversions and we got them all over. I scored  5 times and got 3 conversions over and other people in my team got a lot of tries and the score was 50 - 48. They were really picking up their score and someone punched max in the head and then we all got in a fight but then the referee gave us a penalty and that's how we won.

Last last week I played another rugby game and we smashed them by a lot but they wert that sad when they lost that was the first time losing. They were fun to play with we we're playing a friendly game they didn't have enough players so some of our team had to go on there side. The score was 36-0 after we all went to the club for prize giving and I got player of the day and Levi was runner up player of the day ( 2nd player of the day day ). And then we had a big feed and then we all went home happy.

  Last term I went to a rugby tournament  for torbay school and we came 3 out of 12 schools. We won 10 and lost 2 games and the first and second team played and we versed the team who came first and we nearly beat them. But they had huge players and they ran through almost everyone but Jacob tacked him just though. The score was 12 - 20 it was really hard when I scored I dove on the ground really hard and heart myself. And Daniel tackled a big guy and he landed on Daniel and Jacob was on top as well and Daniel got concussed and had to go to starship. And without him we lost our last game that is how we lost 2. My team : Daniel,Jacob,JacobH,Levi,Kaea,Jaylen,Arnold,Luck,Casey and me. Kahu

My goals

In Reading I am learning to understand what i am reading about- deeper questions to complete my follow up activities on time

In writing I am learning to write more information about the topic to edit and proof read my workaday checking it makes sense.

In Math I am learning to do fractions and decimals I also need to do faster recalls of multiplication so I can work  out harder questions.

• This week room 2 has been learning about sustainability 

• I found out that the e bulb was the best because it doesn't use as much energy

•   I wonder if any other light bulb is better than the e bulb 

• the most difficult bit was when I tried to make the jug work

• now I know that the jug takes the most energy

• I enjoyed playing the lizards and vines because you had to answer questions and draw with your eyes closed

• when i new that copper was in computers and gold but the gold was not pure gold so you would not get any money

zombie attack

Once there were three brothers called Jaylen , Kahu and Devan they were new to town called future town.They went to a army school where they met some friends called Evan,Ruben,Gabe,Jayden and Dylan . They learnt all about war and zombie invasions. One misty day they heard a huge explosion there were scary noises and a zombie came crashing through the window and Jaylen shouted GET YOUR GUN'S OUT QUICK before you get infected.

They quickly grabbed there weapons and then killed the zombie. Kahu said whats going on guys.guys. Jaylen said I don't know and another zombie jumped through the door and bit Devan on the neck. Jaylen and Kahu tried saving him but they first killed the zombie and they tried healing Devan but  they were to late. 

They went out to the city and then they saw a zombie and Kahu said  keep quiet. Then the zombie found them and we shot the zombie and ran so the other zombies could not find us we hid in 

squash with Tessa

In squash my learnig was about how to control the ball.

I found out that lots of people in my class were good at squash.

I wondered If I could actively win a lot of games but I was wrong.

The most difficult thing in squash was when we had to get in a group and not let the ball hit the ground.

Now I now how to get people out quickly in squash.

My next step is to do real squash with my family.

The most fun thing about squash was playing and having fun was the best thing about it.

Music with Mrs Mchugh

In music my learning was about Te rako sticks and make our own beats.

I found out that The Te rako sticks were hard to pass to your partner.

I wondered if the Te rako sticks were easy to flip then i was.

The most difficult thing was making the Te rako sticks.

Now i know how to get the beats right.

My next step is to throw the sticks to my buddy.

The most fun part was having a go at the Te rako sticks.

Rugby league championship

On Tuesday the first me and my team mates went to the rugby league championship. We had to go into town to get to the rugby club my team was Levi,luck,Jacob h,Jacob F ,Terangi,Jaylen,Daniel,Casey,Kaea and our coaches were Tom and Jason. the first team we versed was  Lea-bank school.

They were really but we only lost by one point. I got hit in the face when I got the ball but I was okay and I let Luck score and Jacob F got a try by walking through them all. I nearly got a run away but I tripped up and got tackled. The next game we played was Lincoln heights and we won but Daniel got hurt and had to go to the hospital he got hurt really bad.

The next game daneil was not there and we versed Faovoa They were really hard and we lost 4-2
